A belated card for a friends birthday. Seems I am not getting my notifications from Yahoo. Anyways, better late than never I hope! This is a digital image I got somewhere off the internet! The pink roses I made from Mulberry paper and my friends itty bitty flowers dies by Spellbinders. They are colored with some dye ink's I have around.

Isn't this some cute! A friend of mine became a great gramma not to long ago and this is the card I made for the occasion. The heart shaped card comes with the flourish and is from Sihouette as are all the little bits and pieces on the inside of the card. The image is one from Belle's and Whistles, colored with copics and cut out. Then put her on a little pillow. The sentiment and verse I did on the computer.
But. Is this not just one spectacular cake? Baby Sophia's Auntie Kathie made this. Everything that you see on this cake, right down to the little babies blanket on the very top of the cake. I think it must have taken her months to do this! Beautiful job, Kath!
And this is Great Gramma and baby Sophia!
We had our annual Fiesta, put on by our local stamp and scrapbooking store, Creative Accents!!! Yay girls! And what a job they did! We even had a chef, that is usually hard at work in the Sun Peaks ski resort, out of Kamloops. Thank You for gracing us with cooking up a mexican food extravaganza, Dennis! The company was wonderful. I even had to change some travel plans to work around being able to be here for this weekend! Obviously, I love the Fiesta weekend. Although, I never do get much done other than visiting! lol Somehow the other girls manage to put out some real nice stuff though!
I did not make these cards at the fiesta. The Creative Accents ladies had spoken to Hospice and asked if they had a need for cards to have on hand. They did. Who ever wanted to and had cards on hand could bring and donate them to a very good cause. That is what these cards are for.
And once again Thank You to Julie and her everloving supportive wonderful hubby, Greg. Also to Tara, daughter and co-owner of Creative Accents. And whoever else had a hand in creating such a fun weekend! I strongly suggest to anyone. Think about attending this event sometime!
I made this card for Lance's Auntie Opal and Uncle Rod who were so kind to have us stay with them during the time that Lance's mom was going through her illness etc....We had a wonderful time with them and all of their family that came from all over Alberta, one son even came up from Boston where he resides. They came to make sure their mom was ok, she was Lance's mom's sister. Such a close knit family. Wonderful to see and be a part of.
This is a Sugar Nellie stamp. Colored with copics. The flourish is one of Magnolia's. The Thank You sentiment (Hero Arts) is from a STOM set from our local Creative Accents store. The butterly and various little angels are punches by whom you ask? I have no idea! Mostly just from the dollar store.
Oh my am I ever behind! This is a card I made for my friend, whose birthday was in April! I used a Sylvia Zet digital image. Did I mention I love her drawings, the expression on the faces is just priceless! I used some Wild Orchid flowers Martha Stewart leaf punch, Spellbinder die, various papers and the sentiment I did on the computer. Of course colored with copics!
