A card I made for my cousin. I used a Sylvia Zet digi image. Have I mentioned I really like her images. So cute! Coloured with the usual Copics and Spectrum Noir's. Flowers are from Wild Orchid as is the filigree up in the corner. The butterfly is a die from Memory Box called Pippi.

Meakin's 4th Birthday

My grandson is already 4! And a little monkey he is too! Already has the scars to prove it....oh my!
This card was made almost entirely with things cut out with my silhouette! For his birthday party we, along with his friends went to the bowling alley. That was pretty cute. They all had fun. Thankfully none of them beat my average score of 136....wooooo hey! Liked it but never seemed to get the hang of it! hahaha oh well it was fun!

Mikey's Birthday

For Simone's Mikey. Seeing as how he loves the ocean and ocean related things, I chose to go with this theme. This is a digi image by Cornish Heritage Farms. Coloured with my copics. The lighthouse and all the little embellishments were cut out with my cameo silhouette.

Wedding Card for Tara and Brian

This image is a digi from Mo's Digital Pencil. Coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir's. The arch is cut out with my silhouette machine as is the heart shape in the upper left corner. The flower is one that I made. I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist to get the color I needed, cool stuff but takes awhile to dry.
And now they have moved to where Brian comes from which is way down in North Carolina. I trust they are both doing well. Quite a big change for our home town girl from closing her craft store, to getting married and moving away from everything familiar to her, including family, friends and long time customers that have become friends over the years. Sure miss you Tara. But I wish you both the very best!

Goodmorning to you all...and I do mean morning!

I am finally back with a few cards that I have made over the summer. Seems to be such a busy time to try and get cards made, at least it is for me! So without further adieu.....
My first is a birthday card!

This little girl is a digi image from The Paper Shelter. Coloured with Copics and Spectrum noir pens. The lace is some that I got from Wild Orchid. And the flower stuff I made. They are kind of fun to make. Then I color them with some Glimmer Mist spray. The flourish is one from BossKutz.
I hope you all have had a great summer!

Holiday Weekend!

Hello friends!
I hope that you are all off to a good start enjoying your long weekend. Be it Canada Day or the July 4th weekend in the U.S. I hope the sun is shining, nicely, down upon you wherever you are! Keep safe!
Be back again soon......maybe!!! lol

Birthday Cards for Cher and Peter.

Yet another Saturated Canary digi. Isn't she so cute. She was a lot of fun to color. I used Copics and Spectrum Noir's as well as some of my older Marvy pens, the tiny ends work really good to so small stuff like the squiggly hair etc...The leaves are a Cheery Lynn die. The ovals are Lifestyle. And the flower...not sure where I got that.

I may as well add Peter's card in this post as well. So here it is.

This was a fun card to make! Used my silhouette for the big utensils. A few little dodads here and there and voila! You have Peter barbequing with one hopped up super charged barbeque!!!

Birthday Card

Well here I am back again with something I should have posted eons ago. Sorry! This is a Saturated Canary digi. Colored with Copics and Spectrum Noir's. The birdie is a Quickutz die. The lace and flowers are from Wild Orchid.

How about this back again today!!!

I have a card to show you today that I sent to my dear cousin in Ontario, who has recently had a triple (I think), heart bypass done. Poor girl. My. I can't imagine. It has been quite a go for her but she is back at home now.

I do believe this is an actual stamp! How about that. Cheri at Graphicat Designs is the creator of this image. I coloured it with Copics. Most of the paper is from a Bo Bunny pad that I have. And the sparkly paper! I really like that stuff. Anyhow, I hope it gives Deb a smile when she gets it. I think I am pretty safe in posting it because I don't think she looks at my blog. Get well soon!

Today I have 3 new cards to show you!

And all of them are for celebrating birthdays, yay! Happy Occasions!

This one was for my friend, Edith. I have used a Sugar Nellie digi image. Colored her with Copics and Spectrum Noirs. Lace is from Wild Orchid.
Incidentally, her HUSBAND....yes I said husband, threw her a luncheon at one of our local restaurants!!! It was lovely. In all there were about 20 of us attending! This lady is well loved and I am lucky to have her as a friend!

This card is for my cousins son, James. Who is a twin to Kaitlyn (card below). This is a digi image from Kenny K. Coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noirs. Stars, words and grass are all cut out with my Silhouette.

This one is for my cousins daughter, Kaitlyn. Who is a twin to James (card above). This is a digi image by The Paper Shelter. I have coloured her with Copics and Spectrum Noirs. I used a die cut from Memory Box. I really do like their dies, they cut so nicely and they have really great designs. Oh, and I glued some white fun flock on her color and cuffs.

Hope you like todays uploads and I will try to be back a little sooner.....maybe? LOL

Birthday card

Isn't this little sleeping dragon just the sweetest! It is a digi image created by Sylvia Zet. I colored with Copics. I made the pearls with liquid pearls. That's pretty cool! The flowers are from Wild Orchid. The corners are Peel Off's. The butterfly is from a package I got from Walmart "A Brides Wish".  I colored it with Copics too because it was white and well, I didn't want it white!
Anyhow, I think this is pretty cute!

Sharing cause it's cool!

I was driving around our little town here and saw this on someone's lawn. Thought it was cool so am sharing it with you guys!!!

Pretty neat huh!!!

This is a digital image from TLC. Coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noirs. Leaves are Memory Box dies. Flowers are a punch. Sky is done with Distress Ink pads. Hard to see but I also have some Ritz sparklies here and there. Oh the background paper and leaves are a piece of wallpaper from a sample book! I put silicone gel at the base of the leaf so the tips of the leaves are raised.

Congrat's on 2 years!!!

Darling grandaughter's 6th BD Card

Oh my, can she be 6 already? It seems like only a few days ago we were all so excited about a new baby in the family! I chose this digi image from Elisabeth Dulema because this child loves to read. In fact she is reading at a grade 4 level. Good job mom and dad! I have been saving this background paper for a card for her as I knew at one point I would have to use it for her card.
The butterfly is a Memory Box die, the flower, leaves and flourish are all Cheery Lynn dies. Both great companies! Image is colored with Copics and Spectrum Noirs. Gold corners are stick ons.
Journey you are a beautiful little person. I love you, Grammie D.

Goodness Where Have I been?

Making cards that's where!!! lol Next card up is for my daughter in law. And I am so proud of myself I already have it made....well real close.
I trust you all have a lovely Christmas. So good to be heading towards spring now. Well in a couple of months but the days are staying light much longer so this is a really good thing!
I have some material so hopefully my next project will be to sew a couple of things. And if all goes well I may not throw my sewing machines in the bush!!! It's been awhile, Mind you I did make some jammies for my grandkids for christmas eve. They seem to have turned out fairly nicely. Oh I might as well put a picture for you to look at too. What the heck, nothing spectacular but they liked them!

Birthday Cards

I seem to have a fair amount of friends that have birthdays in Dec and January. That sucks for them! Being so close to Christmas and all.

This one I made for my friend in Montreal, Dianne King.

This one I made for my friend, Sandy Reddick, that lives at the 108 outside of 100 Mile.

And this I made for my friend, Marianne, right here at home. A bunch of us card making friends went out and celebrated her birthday had lots of laughs an awesome dinner. And one of the young ladies, Cheri, made an absolutely delicious birthday cake for Marianne!

A little about this card. This is one of the new digi images, Vintage Adorables, from Funky kits (Sugar Nellie) in Scotland. They are really cute little girls. I colored this one with Spectrum Noirs.

Get Well Card

This card was made for my nieces sister in law. Who has been in Saint Paul's hospital in Vancouver for quite awhile. And is undergoing some pretty serious stuff right now. I figured she needed all the angels she could get. This stamp is from Sugar Nellie and her name is Daisy. I just love this image. She looks like she is so deep in thought. I colored this image with Copics and Spectrum Noir pens. The flowers are from Wild Orchid. The doily I put some Spun Sugar distress ink on to make it the color I wanted it to be.
Think of you often, Lisa.
Oh that beautiful arrangement behind the card was given to us by our friends for Christmas. It is so cute. The house is a Thomas Kincaide and it lights up even! Now I have 2!

Oh Another Christmas Card

just in a different file. This one was so much fun to make. The main image is a digi from Make it Crafty and for the little boy I used a part of one of Mo's digi images and just cut out the little boy. My grandaughter and grandson!

Christmas Cards.....finally!

This is a few of the cards that I made for christmas the rest were pretty much variations on these ones. If you want to know anything about the images just give me a shout and I will email you back.

A December Birthday Card

This card is for my friend, Bettiann, in Logan Lake. The image I used is a digital image by Sylvia Zet. Cute isn't she! Colored with copics. Flourish is Cheery Lynn. Spellbinder die to cut out image.Cherr The paper is Basic Grey. Side punch is likely a Martha Stewart one. You likely can't see it but I also put sparklies on the flowers with Spica Pens.
