A birthday card for Cyndi!

This is a digital image from Sugar Nellie called "Sprinkle Some Love". It would be nice to be able to sit down with my cousin and have a coffee and a chat. But alas she lives to far away. Hoping to see her in the spring just maybe! I took the liberties to make this picture a bit smaller than the original by taking some of the right side of it off. Love these images! And my cousin and coffee too yup!
I colored this with my copics and added a few squiggles in her hair with the Marvy pens, they have such a nice fine tip on one end. The die is one of spellbinders. Of course added some sparklie stuff to her wings. And voila!

Birthday card

This little girl is a Sylvia Zet digital image. Background paper is Bo Bunny. I colored her with Copics and Spectrum Noirs. Used some stickles in the flowers. Painted some Ice Crystal Glamour Dust by Decor Art on her wings. Isn't this one classy grasshopper? All dressed in his tuxedo!!! lol A few pearls and a flourish by Memory Box. Various flowers with a brad holding them all together! I quite liked this card too!

Bithday card

I am into simpler cards these days! I brushed on the blue ink from Time Holtz distress inks. Stamped the verse then stamped and embossed the rose. Colored it a bit and added a ribbon!

Some sympathy cards

Always a sad occasion when we have to make sympathy cards. I like to keep them fairly simple. I purchased the background cards awhile back. I really liked the fact they they already had the embossing done on them. These images are some from Stampin Up. Did you know that you can buy some of their stamps in digi images now? These 2 digi's are from "Just Believe" and "Serene Silhouettes". I printed, cut, assembled and added a bit of stickles to add just a little sparkle to them.

Sympathy card for a friend

This card was a little difficult to make as it was needed far to early in the person's life. The book die is one made by Spellbinder's. The saying I read somewhere one time, I think it is really beautiful. The background is a large stamp from Stampin Up. The flowers, leaves and corner embellishments are from Wild Orchid.
My heart goes out to you. Sure wish we lived closer.

Birthday card for my good friend, Ralfie.

Hmmmmm, this card. Where do I start. I did a lot of the background work using Microsoft Word, coloring and putting the words on the second layer. The clock, wings and background flourish were cut out with my silhouette. The flowers were some I had in my stash.

Birthday cards for my cousins twins

For the "new" teenagers! May the force be with you Cyndi!!!
The top card for James, is made using a stamp that I have from a way back. I colored it with copics and prismacolor pencils. And added some stickles on the splash.
The second card for Kaitlyn. I used a Sylvia Zet image. Colored her with copics and added some of my favorite stickles "stardust". The pretty flourish around the outside I cut with my Silhouette using a light weight background paper.

I can't believe my granddaughter is already 7 years old. This little mermaid is from Sylvia Zet's collection. I fashioned the shell design from Silhouette into a card...now they have one that actually is a card! Colored with copics. The leafy flourish is from Memory Box. The shells are also from Silhouette.

A wedding card!

This was a fun card to make! We have been experiencing the excitement for this wedding for a couple of months now! The bride has kept us all up to date on everything and it has just been fun!!! The only thing I can really tell you about this card is that I used my new Spellbinder die cut for the frame around the flowers! The flourish is a Memory Box die and the spriggy leaves are a magnolia die. The flowers with the blue edging (Carla's accent color) are from Wild Orchid. The leaves and other flowers are a wedding package that I got from Michael's that I have been saving for just this kind of special occasion! hmmmm, more than I thought! lol  So they are all married and off on their honeymoon to somewhere nice and warm! Sure hope they come back! It would be awfully tempting not too! Brrrrr.
